Worthing FC will aim to extend their unbeaten run when they host Wealdstone in the National League on Saturday. The Rebels, who ended a 10-month home win streak with a 2-1 defeat to Forest Green Rovers, have already secured three points from their opening-day victory over Carlisle United. A win would set a positive tone ahead of the Bank Holiday double header. Wealdstone, meanwhile, seek to bounce back from a 3-1 home loss to Harrogate Town, having failed to register a league win this term. The Stones’ seventh successive National League campaign since 2020 has seen them climb to the top of the National League South with just 33 matches played due to the 2020 pandemic disruption. Jack Wells-Morrison, the 22-year-old midfielder, will be a key figure for Wealdstone after rejoining from Ross County, where he was released in March. The former Crystal Palace academy star, who had a loan spell with Solihull Moors last season, made his debut for the Stones in the FA Trophy final last year. Worthing’s Adam Hinshelwood praised the team’s transition to the National League, while Wealdstone manager Gary Waddock, a former colleague of Hinshelwood at Aldershot Town and Wycombe Wanderers, will oversee the opposition. The match will feature segregation, with away fans housed in the North East corner. Ticket prices range from £1.00 for U7s to £22.00 for adults, with children under 14 requiring adult accompaniment.
