Ross County Football Club is set to host the first-ever international transplant football tournament in Scotland. The Four Nations Transplant Football Championship will take place at the Global Energy Stadium from May 29th to 30th.
The event celebrates life, second chances, and the impact of organ donation. Duncan Macaulay, of Scotland Transplant Active Football, expressed pride in bringing the tournament to Ross County FC.
Mark Ridgers, Business Development Executive at Ross County Football Club, stated that hosting the event is an opportunity to support Transplant Scotland. The tournament will be free to attend, with donations to Transplant Scotland welcome.
Local businesses are invited to support the event. The tournament will provide a platform to show the Highlands and the Global Energy Stadium.
