Ross County manager Stuart Kettlewell hailed the team's relentless pursuit of victory after a 2-1 win over Montrose at the Global Energy Stadium. The Staggies maintained their winning start to League One.

Ross County created a number of chances throughout the match, which Kettlewell was most pleased with. He would have liked to have seen them take more of their opportunities, but said claiming all three points was the most important thing. He said: "They are always going to have moments, you can't dominate for 90 minutes. I respect the opposition when you look at the likes of Jamie Barjonas and Sean McGinty, they have good quality. But we were relentless and could have been much more clinical. But I would be more disappointed if we didn't create as many chances than we did. On another day, we are scoring more goals than we did today. But the most important thing is we won."
The win is a testament to the team's resilience and determination to succeed. As Kettlewell said, "We took a blow at half-time to concede a poor goal. We took the blow from missing chances, but we stuck at it and deservedly won the game. It is a big three points and didn't want to disappoint by coming away from here with a draw or losing."
