Ross County made life difficult for themselves in their 2-1 win over Elgin City in the KDM Evolution Trophy. The team's manager, Stuart Kettlewell, said that his team made hard work of it and was relieved to eventually get the victory at Borough Briggs.

Ross County beat Elgin City 2-1 in the KDM Evolution Trophy. Owen Colloty gave Elgin the lead in the 17th minute, but Richard Chin levelled for County five minutes before half time. The game looked like heading for a draw before Adam Emslie scored the winner in injury time to give the Staggies all three points.
